First of all, let me say this… we don’t fully endorse online classes for driver education! It’s been our experience that most online students don’t get near as much information or have near as high passing rate on their DMV permit tests as classroom students and are much more difficult to teach when it comes to behind-the-wheel training. Classroom students learn more and retain more of what they hear because of several factors including:
Interaction with other students and instructor.
Opportunity to ask questions
Hands on learning with more physical senses involved.
Examples and situations taught in class unique to the Imperial Valley.
Therefore it is our recommendation that you enroll your student in our Classroom Driver Education Program.
However, having said all that, we also understand that due to busy family, parent and student schedules attending classes is nearly impossible. Therefore, we now offer an online option that we feel comfortable recommending. The course is written by the same company that writes our classroom curriculum so we trust its content.
This course was created to be as convenient and as interesting as possible; our online program was designed to include interactive games and videos to keep you learning while actually enjoying your time on our site.
Our website is very easy to use, when you register for our Online Drivers Ed, you can choose your own password and username and gain access to our Online Driver Education
This course is divided into 22 chapters, with video interaction and video clips throughout. Once you finish each chapter you will have a short quiz to test your knowledge. You must get a mandatory 75% to move to the next chapter. When you pass the quiz you will be able to save your score, if you missed too many questions, you will be able to go back and read over the material and retake the quiz. The computer will grade the tests and you will know immediately if you have passed.
Upon successful completion of the driver education course, we will send the original certificate of completion to you. Your fee for the course includes the entire program and the completion certificate.
Also, by signing up for our online classes your student has the opportunity to also attend any or all of classroom education at no extra cost! This way they can get the best of both worlds. You also save money because we waive the $25.00 enrollment fee for Behind the Wheel Training if you do classes online through us.
